Judy boasts an eclectic background. Following her graduation in Political Science/Asian Studies from Berkley and the University of Illinois, she joined her fiancé, whom she had met during a junior year abroad on the way to Turkey, in Vietnam. She worked for the Army and Airforce Exchange Service and then Chrysler Military Sales in Vietnam, Thailand and the Republic of Panama as an Office Administrator. Moving to Florida after 10 years abroad she worked as an Insurance and Finance officer in her husband's motorcycle and marine dealership for 11 years before opening a Liquor store, which she operated for 31 years. At the same time, she and her husband worked in International Marketing, eventually becoming Motivational Speakers. When her husband passed away after 47 years of marriage, Judy sold her liquor store and moved with her two dogs (a Siberian Huskey and a Chesapeake Bay Retriever) and a 17year old cat to Colorado. Promising her two children that she would write a book as a Celebration of Life in honor of her husband, she has spent the past 4 years on this project.
